On September 14th, 2009 Joe Garcia of the web-comic For The Reels, which had been on hiatus since February 2009, and I came to an arrangement where For The Reels would make it’s triumphant return with a fully re-designed website and I would replace his brother Jon Garcia who died in a fiery car crash after relapsing on hookers and coke. He will be missed, but we must move on quickly. He would have wanted it that way. For clarification by ‘fiery car car crash after relapsing on hookers and coke’ I mean moving to Korea. And by ‘replace’ I mean Jon won’t be working on the site anymore, but will still be contributing ideas, writing and being all Jon-like. So really all that’s happening is I’m getting my grubby mitts in the mix.
In this new partnership y2cl.net is welcoming it’s Ninth comic to the y2cl-verse! For The Reels will be set into the universe as a Movie Parodying TV Show that the guys watch when they are not fighting zombies. You might even see some little cross overs. For the record, For The Reels will stay a movie parodying comic and it will stay funny. I promises to not ruin it with my craptasticness.
The first thing that will happen is all the old FTR Comics will post here on the new site. Once they all have ran then new ones will start.
