This is one of those strips where if you haven’t seen the movie you wouldn’t have any idea what was going on. Sometimes I cringe when we publish a strip with a spoiler, hoping people who haven’t seen the movie avoid it.
That’s why we pick movies that have at least made it to DVD, that way we don’t have to worry about spoiling anything for the readers. Although, it does suck when I get a good parody idea for a movie I see in theaters, and have to wait almost a year to make fun of it.
