Jon saved my butt on this one, cause there’s no way I could have ever have drawn this without his help. He drew the “Clover” monster and turned something so complicated in it’s design into a simple, likable cartoon. Awesome.
At first I was unsure how to write the monster’s noises, but watching the dvd extras provided the solution. They described his shriek as a “shroar” sound, which I expanded on and evolved through the course of the strip to make it seem like he was actually talking in the last few panels.
