Déjà vu.  I drew this strip simultaneously with #43 sot it was really easy.  We originally planned on doing this strip on Halloween one year later as kind of a not to ourselves, but we got impatient.  Though, it’s cool to see these two strips back to back.  I think it’s interesting how the black and white strip has a more eerie feeling to it.  Maybe color is why this 1998 remake bombed.  Now that Vince Vaughn is sticking to comedies now, it’s weird to look back and take him seriously in these dramatic roles.

Jon and I first saw this film when we were 13 or 14.  He was more affected by its shower scene than I was.  Probably because one time I snuck into the bathroom and shouted, “NEE! NEE! NEE! NEE!”
